Ferromagnet-insulator-Ferromagnet thin films were produced and characterized. These may be used in sensors to detect flaws in aluminum airframes. These were characterized using an atomic force microscope. Magnetization was measured with a vibrating sample magnetometer and film resistance determined for a variety of film types.
