Ana Rosas

Magnetic field distributions in high T$_c$ superconductors can be measured using $\mu$SR. Measurements on flux grown single crystals of YBCO indicate the existence of fairly large (2000 Å) inclusions of the so called green phase which is part of the flux and necessary for sufficient Ytterium content in the crystals. Ms. Rosas participated in the development of a model calculation of the fields in these inclusions. She will be included on a related paper. She also took part in a $\mu$SR experiment at TRIUMF.
