Physics 101 - Homework Solutions - Fall 2000

The solutions to the weekly homework assignments are be posted here:

Technical Note: The solutions here are written in HTML; this means that you may want to adjust the fonts to make them look as readable as possible. You can do this from the "Options" Menu on Netscape... Graded homework will be handed back in the problem sessions.

Solutions will also be posted on the bulletin board outside the lecture hall, and will also be available on reserve in Swem library (ask for the call number "OPC Armstrong").

If you have any questions about the solutions, feel free to ask your problem set instructor, or me. Also, a list of suggested extra problems is available.

Note: Some of the problems assigned are odd-numbered, which means that the (final) solution is in the back of the text. Simply handing in the final result is therefore not sufficient - for all problems, you should give a complete solution, i.e. show how the result was obtained, as clearly as possible. This will also aid you in using the homework to study for the tests and the exam. If you have concerns about the grading, you can contact the TA who grades the homework.

Note: Access to the solutions is limited to users at William & Mary.
